ULMWP calls for action on May 1, 2024

United in one soul, let us be together on one common front!

In commemoration of the 61st anniversary of Indonesia's illegal occupation of West Papua, the United Liberation Movement for West Papua (ULMWP) as a coordination forum for the West Papuan Nation appeals to all movements and communities inside and outside West Papua to:

1. Mobilize to carry out simultaneous national action on May 1 2024 under the banner of the United Liberation Movement for West Papua (ULMWP).

2. Action can be carried out in any form, whether through free pulpits, rallies, public discussions, etc. using the name ULMWP or other action fronts.

3. The West Papua movements and diplomats abroad are urged to consolidate and to take action ahead of May 1 2024.

4. All West Papuans at home and abroad are called to organize themselves and be directly involved in the actions that have been planned.

5. ULMWP as a forum for coordinating people's movements, is ready to take full responsibility for the entire series of actions carried out, in whatever form before colonial Indonesia and the international world.

That is our call. With the greatest respect to the leaders of the West Papua movement and all people inside and outside West Papua, we hereby express our deepest gratitude.
