Victor Yeimo was acquitted

Today, Sept 23, 2023, one of West Papua's young freedom fighters, Victor Yeimo, is released after serving a 3-year sentence in Indonesian Colonial Prison. Victor was active in combating Indonesian racism in August-September 2019.

We, together with the Papuan Church Council and thousands of people were present to welcome him from Abepura Prison to the venue for a joint thanksgiving prayer.

This video is the expression of the Papuan people during the prayer and closing ceremony.

"Welcome Mr. Victor from the Small Prison to the Big Prison of West Papua. Keep up the spirit until Papua becomes independent.We have hope that Papua will definitely be independent and sovereign in the land of our ancestors. Thank you for all the support. The Lord Jesus be with us all."
